Scope & regulatory framework

Clear boundaries for a complex market.

We distinguish technology used to coordinate work from the legal, financial and regulatory roles required to execute a transaction.

01

What the product shows

The current demonstration includes organisation-scoped data views, portfolios, qualitative risk labels, illustrative structuring records, linked vehicle and issuance records, and reporting views. These are not certified calculations or executed transactions.

02

What remains outside

Pool Capital does not currently provide legal incorporation of SPVs, securities issuance, custody, investor onboarding or KYC/AML checks, investment advice, regulated arranging or certified regulatory reporting. A record created in a workspace is not a legal action.

03

Who remains responsible

Originators, arrangers, issuers, service providers and authorised partners retain their respective responsibilities. The applicable requirements depend on the transaction, jurisdiction, participants and documentation.

04

European context

Regulation (EU) 2017/2402 sets a general EU framework for securitisation, including transparency, due diligence and risk retention. Its application to a proposed transaction requires specialist review; a software workflow alone does not establish compliance.

05

Security and deployment

Data separation is implemented in the demonstration, but this website does not claim certification, audited controls, a production SLA or approval by a regulator. Security, hosting, access, retention and contractual commitments would be assessed before a production engagement.

This page is general information, not legal, tax, regulatory or investment advice. See the Resources & FAQ for additional educational context.
